“Squirt”

Pictured at just 10 days old on 8th February 2016, our little pup affectionately nicknamed “Squirt” is nothing short of a miracle. Born weighing less than 95 grams Squirt the little fighter now weights 152 grams. To compare, her siblings weigh 700 grams! Thanks to her amazing carer Megan who is providing around the clock care, she is growing stronger every day.

Squirt has some health issues to work through and when the time comes where she is big enough and strong enough, SABBR will continue to support her through her recovery.

Senna

Senna

Senna was surrendered to a vet after a horrific case of abuse where she was dragged behind a vehicle while full term into her pregnancy. Senna’s beautiful pups were born via emergency caesarian and placed with a very special SABBR surrogate mum Addi while Senna remained in the vet practice recovering from her injuries. Senna has been left physically and mentally scarred but makes progress everyday.

Syrah

Syrah

Syrah was rescued from the pound with severe demodex mange, infected eyes and her ears were closed over as they were so infected and swollen. She was underweight, anxious and jumped at the sound of any noise or new people. Despite her medical state, and how uncomfortable she was, she was sweet and loving and her sad eyes were just asking to be loved.

Betsy

Betsy

Betsy was a private surrender from a member of the public when she began to have seizures. Betsy was sent to our team of specialists who diagnosed her with Epilepsy and are managing her condition with daily  medication. Her condition in no way limits her life and she is living it to the full!
