SABBR is located in Perth Western Australia and all dogs are rehomed within our state so that we can ensure we are always available to provide care if our boofas ever need our help again. Our dogs are adopted as companions only as Bull breeds are loving, people orientated dogs and are not suitable for homes seeking a guard dog.
SABBR's adoption program requires all potential owners to go through a simple screening process to ensure the future safety and well being of our boofas by making the best match for your family.
Our adoption procedure starts with a phone interview with one of our adoption team followed by a meet and greet with the boofa you are interested in. After a successful meet has taken place, one of our volunteers will come to your home to complete a home and fence check. This check is to ensure you have adequate fencing and that your yard and home meet the needs of your proposed new family member. Responsible pet ownership is a matter of utmost importance and we promote it at all times.
Once the check has been approved, the boofa's adoption fee is paid, paperwork signed and you begin a two week trial. This trial allows enough time for you and your proposed new family member to adjust to new surroundings and ensure you are a perfect fit for one another. At the end of the trial, if everyone is happy then the adoption is made permanent.
The adoption fee covers your dog being wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, microchipped, sterilised and vet checked by one of the wonderful veterinary clinics we work with. We are also assisted by some of Perth's top behavioural trainers when required.
Please see our Pet Rescue information below for some of our amazing boofas looking for their forever families and email us if you would like to start the adoption process.
